The five gauges in front of the driver left to right are oil pressure, water temp, tachometer with recall, oil temp, and fuel pressure. There is no speedometer. The tach is the most important so its the largest and is prominently placed in the center. On the passenger side dash are the ignition control and the master switch on the far right. Behind the shifter is the ignition switch panel. Left to right are the ignition switch, start button, fan switch and accessory switch. The center tunnel below the shifter houses the transmission and exhaust headers and gets very hot. The steering wheel is detachable by slipping the collar on the back towards you. Attached to the wheel is a push to talk switch for the driver's radio just out of the picture on the left. Shifting is a little touchy starting off because of the high gearing but you will stay in top gear once you get to speed. For oval courses the wheel stagger is set to hook up on the corners making the car pull to the left on straights. The car is easy to drive but hard to drive well. |
